A photograph of faults

A swarm of faults and fissures crosses the Krafla central volcano
from north to south. The photograph is taken from the highland around Krafla,
looking south.  Two large faults are to the right, other faults can be seen to the left
(marked by light-green vegetation).
Two prominent tablemountains, Mount Bláfjall and Mt. Sellandafjall,
in the distance, Lake Mývatn is in the upper right corner.
