Superman: The Animated Series

Set in present day Metropolis against the backdrop of a bright, urban landscape, the ageless superhero combats sinister villains and rescues innocent victims in new stories based on universal themes encompassing the same time-honored tradition of the classic Superman legend. The voices of the characters are in the hands of Tim Daly (Superman/Clark Kent), Dana Delany (Lois Lane), Clancy Brown (Lex Luther), George Dzundra (Perry White) and David Kauffman (Jimmy Olsen).

Superman was created in 1938 by Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster and has since been one off the most popular superhero ever created. First it was only published as a comic magazine but it has since been on the radio, Broadway and has made its way on television and silver screen a number of times, both animated and acted. Following the success that the animated series of Batman has had on kids WB, Warner launched Superman: The Animated Series in the fall of 1996.

Superman: The Animated Series finished its 3rd and last season with the total of 52 episodes in February, 2000.
